I have a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington and am licensed in Washington state as an independent clinical social worker. My previous experience includes working in a state psychiatric hospital, an emergency department, and as a county designated crisis responder.
We learn from an early age that our worth is tied to our service and how well we please others. Trying to be nice enough, thin enough, self-sacrificing enough, accommodating enough is a game we can never win.
Together, we can deconstruct the beliefs that keep you stuck and reconstruct your path forward, a path based on your values and choices.
What makes me passionate about empowering women isn’t just my professional life but my personal life as well.
I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an auntie and a friend.
I am fat and bossy and opinionated.
I love to grow vegetables, read mysteries, fail at knitting projects and talk smack about my cat (he deserves it).
My greatest joy in life is watching my teenage daughters reject haters like A’ja Wilson blocks shots (look it up) and I want every woman everywhere to find that same fierce self-love.
